The graduating class of 2018 from Bilder Nordic consists of 31 students. We are a group of hard-working photographers with different approaches, and the end goal is to create a diverse and united exhibition, touching on important issues concerning nature, culture and humanity.

REDLISTED

is a project about Norway’s future. We have inherited so much from those who came before. We live lives that our grandparents could never have imagined. We have money; we have health; we have a world at our feet.

But what are we at risk of losing in this relentless push towards progress? What about kindness? Openness? Our democratic values? What about our wilderness areas? What about the people being left behind?

This is our own red list: the resources, values and traditions we feel obliged to preserve, so we can pass on the best of ourselves to future generations. It’s not a nationalistic project; it’s a project about what makes us a nation.
